Patient Education Resources at NYU Langone Health

  • Staywell (by Krames) is the first choice for patient education at NYU Langone for clinicians and other patient educators.  This content is available in the EPIC After Visit Summary (AVS) and via the Clinical References tab.
  • For custom content created by NYU Langone clinician authors, please check our Patient Handout Library on InsideHealth : https://central.nyumc.org/clin/nursing/patiented/DC/available/Forms/AllItems.aspx.    This resource may be added to your intranet homepage's Favorites box by:
    • clicking on "View full catalog"
    • searching the phrase Patient Education Handouts and clicking the star to "favorite."
  • A third source is the patient education handouts in Lexicomp.  A comprehensive resource of clinical information and tools, Lexicomp also offers patient education sheets and is particularly good for med sheets in other languages.  Lexicomp is available from the library's website (https://online-lexi-com.ezproxy.med.nyu.edu/lco/action/home/switch)  Those with Epic access can also find it in the MAR.
