Databases and Online Resources:
- GenBank: A comprehensive pubic database of DNA sequences for more than 165,000 organisms. Submissions from individual laboratories and batch submissions from large-scale sequencing projects.
- UCSC Genome Browser: University of California, Santa Cruz's Genome Browser is a widely used online tool that provides a graphical interface for exploring and analyzing genomic data.
- The International Genome Sample Resource: The 1,000 Genomes Project created a catalog of common human genetic variation in healthy individuals.
- gnomAD: Genome aggregation database developed by international coalition of investigators and sequencing data from a wide variety of large-scale sequencing projects.
- UniProt: Protein Sequence and Function information database.
- OMIM: Online Mendelian Inheritance in Man: Online Mendelian Inheritance in Man is a daily updated catalog of human genes and genetic disorders and traits with a focus on genotype-phenotype relationships.
- ClinVar: A database that aggregates information about genomic variation and its relationship to human health. Variants are typically submitted by major diagnosing laboratories and research centers.
- GeneCards: A searchable, integrated, database of human genes that provides concise genomic related information, on all known and predicted human genes.
- Mouse Genome Informatics (MGI): An International database resource for laboratory mouse, providing integrated genetic, genomic and biological data to facilitate the study of human death and disease.
- NHGRI: The National Human Genome Research Institute website provides the necessary tools, resources and support to drive and facilitate genomics research.
- Monarch Initiative:A knowledge graph and tool ecosystem for clinicians, researchers and scientists. It aggregates millions of entities—genes, diseases, phenotypes—from various sources for comprehensive insights.
- Genetic Alliance:Genetic Alliance fosters health transformation by embracing openness, dissolving boundaries, and introspecting deeply within ourselves to impact systemic change effectively.
