NYU Langone Health Science Library facilitates free trials of online resources that are of interest to NYU Langone Health faculty, students & staff. 

We take into account the following information or criteria before we initiate a trial: 

• Relevance of the resource to the teaching, learning and research activities of the requestor(s), and the wider University. 
• Availability of funding, ie likelihood of a purchase or subscription following a successful trial. 
• Adequate timing for a trial, and availability of trial participants to engage with the product and provide robust feedback.
• Authentication methods which are compatible with our current operating systems.
• Web based standards pertaining to accessibility as well as overall usability.
