PubsHub is a database containing details on peer-reviewed medical journals and academic conferences. It gives useful information to prospective authors such as publication cycles, impact factor, rejection rates, journal scope, and journal contact information.

JBI EBP Database

The JBI Evidence-Based Practice Database covers a wide-range of nursing and health sciences information that has been appraised, analyzed, and prepared by expert reviewers. The Joanna Briggs Institute is an international research center through the University of Adelaide, South Australia.

JBI's Evidence Summaries are recommendations for clinical practice based on structured literature searches referencing the highest quality sources available on a topic, usually with a nursing focus. (Choose "Evidence Summaries" as publication type.)

Update your settings to get full text access through the library when you are working remotely. From Google Scholar, choose 1) the top left menu, 2) SETTINGS, then 3) LIBRARY LINKS. Search for NYU Health Sciences Libraries and New York University Libraries. Choose the check box next to both.

UpToDate is an electronic, full-text clinical resource that provides evidence-based answers to the most commonly asked questions in clinical practice. Original material in UpToDate is written by an international faculty of practicing clinicians who are experts in their specialties. Includes access to over 9,500 topics in 21 specialties, along with different levels of patient education materials to meet the varying information needs of patients.

Scopus is both an abstract and a citation database containing more than 41 million records for peer-reviewed literature and quality web sources. The citation indexing is available from 1996 to the present, and the abstract indexing goes back as far as 1823. Disciplines covered include scientific, technical, medical and social sciences fields with some coverage in the arts and humanities.
