iThenticate

What is iThenticate?

iThenticate is a plagiarism prevention tool that allows authors to screen their original written work for similarity against a vast database of published academic content.

How do I use iThenticate?

NYU Langone users will be prompted to create an account using their NYU Langone credentials. Users can submit documents in a variety of formats  (see allowed formats) and organize using folders. iThenticate compares your work against a wide variety of scholarly work. iThenticate then provides users with a "Similarity Report" that details the percent similarity to text in the iThenticate database.
