SERVICE LEVEL ONE: Services provided to all members of the NYU Langone Medical Center Community
- Assistance via email or one-on-one consultation at a Health Sciences Libraries location
- Routine assistance locating information using online information resources provided by the Libraries
- Routine assistance with access problems
- Assistance with developing a literature searching query or strategy
- Basic introduction and assistance in using bibliographic management software programs
- Basic guidance in developing good information and data management stratagies
SERVICE LEVEL TWO: Services provided to departments or groups with a dedicated liaison librarian, or groups having an agreement with the Libraries to provide this level of service
- All of the services described in level one
- One-on-one consultation at a Health Sciences Libraries location or at the user's location
- In-depth assistance locating information using online information information resources provided by the Libraries, and potentially information sources beyond the Libraries
- In-depth assistance with access problems, including investigation of issues in user's work location
- Collaboration in conducting a narrative or systematic literature searching with appropriate co-author designation as appropriate - more information on this is available via our Systematic Review guide
- In-depth assistance in using biblographic management software programs (excluding complex IT problems)
- Course-integrated information resource and management instruction
- Additional services as appropriate in consultation with the Associate Director, Research & Education Services
