The Lillian & Clarence de la Chapelle Medical Archives & Special Collections house historic collections and rare books on a variety of subjects related to the history of medicine, with an emphasis on the history of NYU Langone. This exhibit features highlights from our nursing collections in celebration of National Nurses Week 2023. The exhibit features a copy of Florence Nightingale's 1859 Notes on Nursing from our Rare Books collection. Other featured items include documentation from The Margaret Fahnestock School of Nursing Collection. Located in the Lapidus Library.
