Incidence & Prevalence Database

The Incidence and Prevalence Database (IPD) is the most efficient way to look at the world’s epidemiology data. The IPD covers over 4,500 diseases, procedures, symptoms and other health issues for incidence, prevalence, morbidity, mortality, comorbidity, treated or diagnosed rates, cost and much more.

Some of the main features of the Incidence and Prevalence Database include:

  • 4,500 diseases and procedures
  • Updated every 4 weeks
  • Every data citation attached to its original source

Natural Medicines

Natural Medicines provides high-quality, evidence-based information about complementary and alternative medicine including dietary supplements and integrative therapies. Grades reflect the level of available scientific data for or against the use of each therapy for a specific medical condition.  

Additional databases within Natural Standard include: Foods, Herbs & Supplements; Health & Wellness; Comparable Effectiveness; Charts & Tables; Brands & Manufacturers; Medical Conditions; Sports Medicine; Genomics & Proteomics; Environment & Global Health; and, Animal Health. Also included interaction, depletion, pregnancy & lactation, symptom and adverse effects checkers.

PubsHub is a great resource when you are trying to locate a scholarly journal to publish an interesting case report, case series, and for the daring, a systematic review or meta-analysis.

Did you know . . .

the American Journal of Preventive Medicine accepts research articles and brief reports that address any important topic in preventive medicine including case reports?  This peer-reviewed journal is indexed in PubMed/Medline, Embase and PsycInfo.
