About Papers

NYU does NOT have an institutional license for Papers. 

      
     

    Set-up Papers

    1. Download a free 30 day trial of Papers for Windows or Mac.

    2. Enable citations for Windows or Mac.

    3. Install the Web Importer, Bookmarklet (click image):

    4. To access literature databases and journal websites remotely, you can use EZProxy library proxy servers in Papers.  Select "New York University - School of Medicine" and the proxy information will be updated. This will allow you to check full-text availability while working in Papers. 

    • Windows: Proxy settings are chosen on the Access Options tab.
    • Mac: Proxy settings are chosen on the Preferences Access tab.

    Additional Support

    At this time, the NYU Health Sciences Libraries does not offer support or training for the use of Papers.
