Clinical Downloadable Apps Purchased by NYU

  • UpToDate
    Click Login/Register to create a user name and password. UpToDate will then email you instructions for downloading the app to your mobile device.

    Please Note: This app will only work when connected to a network, it will not work when your device is off-line. You will be required to re-verify your login credentials every 90 days.
  • Epocrates Essentials
    Before downloading, register here to access the full version of Epocrates for iOS, Android, or Blackberry.
  • uCentral
    Before downloading, register here to download the uCentral app for iOS, Android or Blackberry.
  • Lexicomp
    Before downloading, register here to download the Lexicomp app for iOS, Android or Blackberry. This registration code changes frequently, if you need an updated code please contact HSL_e-team@nyumc.org
  • Natural Medicines Comprehensive Database
    Before downloading, register here to create a CE ID#. Download the free NMCD app from the Apple Store or Google Play. Open the app and login with your email address and CE ID# and password.
  • VisualDx
    Before downloading, register here to create a user name and password for the app on iOS or Android. Note: This app will only work when connected to a network, it will not work when your device is off-line.
  • Micromedex
    After downloading the "Free Micromedex Drug Reference for Internet Subscribers" app, locate the NYU Langone password by using this link and clicking on "Download Center" in the upper right-hand corner. The app is for iOS, Android, or Windows devices. The password is good for one year.
  • Nursing Reference Center (NRC) Plus
    Click the "NRC Plus Mobile App Access" link at the bottom of the page and enter your email address (note: you must use an email address that you can access from your device).

    An email with an authentication key is sent to you. You have 24 hours to access the key from your device to authenticate the app. If the key is not used within 24 hours, it expires and you will need a new key (note: once it is authenticated, the app can be used for nine months, after which you must send yourself a new authentication key).
  • NeoFax® Essentials from Micromedex
    After downloading the "Micromedex® NeoFax® Essentials" app, locate the NYU Langone password by using this link and clicking on NeoFax®/Pediatrics. Once that site has opened, click on the "Mobile" link in the upper right-hand corner. The app is for iOS, Android, or Windows devices. The password is good for one year.
  • Pediatrics Essentials from Micromedex
    After downloading the "Micromedex® Pediatrics Essentials" app, locate the NYU Langone password by using this link and clicking on NeoFax®/Pediatrics. Once that site has opened, click on the "Mobile" link in the upper right-hand corner. The app is for iOS, Android, or Windows devices. The password is good for one year.
  • Read by QxMD
    After downloading and logging in, set up institutional access to NYU subscribed content by going to settings and selecting "Institutional Access". Find "New York University Health Sciences Libraries," select "Automatic Login Using Library Login," and enter your KID and password.
